Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using TradeForge, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the service. That's the deal.

2. What TradeForge Does

TradeForge is a website platform built for trades and services businesses. We host your website, handle the technical plumbing (SSL, backups, analytics, email delivery, SEO infrastructure), and give you an admin panel to manage your content. Your site lives on a subdomain of mytradeforge.com by default, or your own custom domain on paid plans.

3. Your Account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If someone else gets into your account and makes changes, that's on you. Let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

One account per business. Don't share credentials with competitors. Multiple team members per account is a planned feature.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

TradeForge runs on monthly subscriptions: Starter ($9/mo), Pro ($19/mo), and Premium ($39/mo). Pricing may change with 30 days' notice to existing customers.

You'll be billed monthly in advance. If payment fails, we'll email you and retry for 7 days. After that, your site will be suspended (content preserved, just not accessible publicly) until payment is resolved. After 60 days of non-payment, we may delete your data.

Cancel anytime from your account. We'll prorate the current billing period. No long-term contracts, no cancellation fees.

5. Your Content Belongs to You

Everything you upload — text, photos, logos, project descriptions — remains your property. We don't claim ownership. You grant us a limited license to store, display, and serve your content as part of operating the service.

You can export your content at any time. If you cancel, we'll keep your data for 30 days in case you come back, then delete it.

6. What You Can't Do

Don't use TradeForge to:

• Host illegal content or content that infringes on others' rights
• Run phishing, spam, or fraud operations
• Attack, disrupt, or attempt to breach our infrastructure or other tenants' sites
• Resell the service as your own platform (white-labeling) without prior written agreement
• Upload malware, viruses, or malicious scripts
• Misrepresent your business or mislead customers

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these rules. We'll try to give you a chance to fix the issue first, unless the violation is severe.

7. Uptime and Reliability

We target 99.9% uptime and we back up your data daily. That said, the internet is the internet — things break. We're not liable for downtime, data loss, or any losses resulting from service interruptions. If we have a major outage, we'll credit affected accounts.

8. Third-Party Services

TradeForge may use third-party services (for payment processing, email delivery, AI content generation, etc.) to provide the product. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. We vet them, but we're not responsible for their behavior.

9. AI-Generated Content

Our AI writing assistant generates draft content based on prompts you provide. You're responsible for reviewing AI output before publishing. We don't guarantee accuracy, and AI-generated content should always be fact-checked for your business (claims about licensing, years in business, etc.).

10. Disclaimers

TradeForge is provided "as is." We don't guarantee the service will meet your specific needs, be uninterrupted, or be error-free. We don't guarantee search engine rankings or any particular business outcome.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TradeForge's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. If we make material changes, we'll email you at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after that counts as acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Washington State, USA. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Washington State.
